Elizabeth Kaletski is currently an Assistant Professor of Economics at Ithaca College. Her research interests are at the intersection of development and labor economics. Within these fields her research currently focuses on the broad themes of child labor and education, the impact of government policy on socioeconomic outcomes, and economic and social rights fulfillment. Up to this point her research has employed household surveys from various countries, along with international and government data. Going forward, she will continue working on the above mentioned themes, but would also like to pursue research in the areas of poverty, gender and inequality, conflict, health and medical care, and food and water security.

She joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in January 2014.
