Kamila Cygan-Rehm

Kamila Cygan-Rehm is the Head of the Research Group "Outcomes of Education Across the Lifespan" at the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) at the University of Bamberg. She is mainly interested in applied microeconomics in the fields of education and labor economics, family and population economics, public health and policy evaluations.

Kamila received her PhD in Economics in 2013 from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. Previously, she studied Business with focus on Statistics and Econometrics at the Poznan University of Economics (Poland), the Freiberg University of Technology (Germany), and the Warsaw School of Economics (Poland).

Kamila's current research projects focus on monetary and non-pecuniary returns to education and the determinants of early childhood development.

She joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in October 2018.
