Research Interests

Egbert Jongen is Program Leader Labour at CPB Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis and Associate Professor at Leiden University. Egbert obtained his PhD at the VU University Amsterdam, and spent research visits at MIT (Cambridge) and UMAR (Ljubljana). His research interests include labour economics and public economics. Amongst others, he has published in the Journal of Public Economics, Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics and Labour Economics.

Egbert Jongen became a Research Fellow in October 2017.
