Antoine Bertheau is a Postdoc researcher at NHH. He received his PhD in Economics from CREST. He is an applied economist studying labor markets, focusing on the interactions between employers and workers. He has studied how firms’ human resource decisions impact wage and employment dynamics at the micro and macro levels. He is also interested in understanding the reverse phenomena: how worker behaviors impact firm performance. His projects have studied hiring strategies, job mobility, turnover cost, job displacement, employer beliefs on labor adjustment at the layoff and pay cut margins, and employer beliefs about their wage-setting power.
