Yves Zenou, Ph.D., is a Professor of Economics and holds the Richard Snape Chair in Business and Economics at Monash University (Melbourne, Australia). His research is both theoretical and empirical and his interests include: (i) Social interactions and network theory, (ii) Search and matching theory, (iii) Urban economics, (iv) Segregation and discrimination of ethnic minorities, (v) Identity and assimilation of immigrants, (vi) Criminality and (vii) Education.
Yves Zenou is also affiliated to the Research Institute of Industrial Economics (IFN, Stockholm), the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR, London) and the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA, Bonn). He is also a visiting professor at the University of Southampton.
He is a Fellow of the Econometric Society, a Foreign Member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences (class for social sciences), Fellow of the Spatial Econometrics Association, Fellow of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia, and Fellow of the Regional Science Association International.
He is currently Associate Editor at Games and Economic Behavior, Regional Science and Urban Economics, Scandinavian Journal of Economics, IZA Journal of Migration, and Annals of Economics and Statistics.
