Pablo A. Acosta

Pablo A. Acosta, an Argentinean national, received his Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2006 and joined the World Bank in 2008 where he works as a Program Leader for Human Development. Prior to his position at the World Bank, he worked at the Andean Development Corporation (CAF, Venezuela), at the Ministry of Economy in Argentina, and the Foundation for Latin American Economic Research (FIEL, Argentina). His main areas of interest are labor economics, migration, skills, and international trade. He has also published work in the area of internal labor markets and wage inequality.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in November 2011.
