Alexandru voicu获得了他的b.a.in mechanical engineering in Bucharest, in 1992, and his M.A in economics from Central European University in Prague, in 1995. He received his Ph. D. in economics in May 2001 from Rutgers University with a dissertation on "Bayesian Markov chain Monte Carlo estimation of dynamic labor force participation models." His main research interests are the application of MCMC methods to a wide range of microeconometric models and the study of transition economies.
