Gabriela Galassi is a labor economist with a broad interest in labor markets and applied econometrics. Her research areas include the impact of public policies on labor market outcomes, intergenerational correlations, and technological change. More recently, she has incorporated big data and text analytics tools into her analysis.
Gabriela is a Senior Economist at the Labour and Inflation Team at the Bank of Canada. She earned her Ph.D. in Economics from the European University Institute (Florence) in 2018. She also holds a Master's degree in Economics of Public Policy from the Barcelona School of Economics.
Gabriela Galassi joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in March 2018.
