迈克尔。贝克曼is Full Professor of Human Resources and Organization at the University of Basel, Research Professor at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB), and IZA Research Fellow.
Before joining the University of Basel, he was Associate Professor of Human Resource Education at the Munich School of Management at LMU Munich. Michael Beckmann completed his doctorate and habilitation in business administration at the University of Freiburg im Breisgau. His research focusses on empirical issues in personnel and organizational economics. The main areas of his current research are employee empowerment, self-managed working time, digitalization, stress at the workplace, and employee representation. He published in international journals, such as European Economic Review, Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, Journal of Economics and Statistics, Review of Managerial Science, and Schmalenbach Business Review.
