Research Interests

Susanne Ek斯佩克特is currently employed at Nordea Bank, covering the labour market and wage setting dynamics. She obtained her PhD in economics at Uppsala University in 2013. She completed her undergraduate degree in economics with distinction at Uppsala University in 2008. She joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in November 2010.

She was awarded the EALE Young Labour Market Economist Prize in 2013.

Her main research interests include labor economics, in particular dynamics of unemployment, wage dynamics, minimum wages and unemployment insurance design.
