Jorge García-Hombrados is an Assistant Professor (JIN Fellow) at the Department of Economic Analysis, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM).
Before joining UAM, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the London School of Economics, and previously worked for J-PAL LAC and the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie). He is an applied microeconomist and his research focuses on topics in development economics, cultural institutions, crime, and the evaluation of social policies.
Jorge joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in April 2023.
