Johannes Hermle

    Johannes Hermle is a PhD student in Economics at the University of California, Berkeley. Before coming to Berkeley, he received a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the University of Bonn.

    Johannes’ research is in the area of applied microeconomics, in particular at the intersection of behavioral, public, and political economics. His current work focuses on the impact of gender-specific breadwinner norms on marriage selection and family outcomes.

    Johannes Hermle became a Research Affiliate in October 2018.
