Artjoms Ivlevs is Professor of Economics at the Bristol Business School, University of the West of England (UWE), UK. His main research interest is labour migration (in particular, the decision to emigrate, the effects of migration on sending countries, and attitudes towards immigration). He has also worked on subjective well-being, education, ethnicity, citizenship and corruption. Most of his research focuses on the post-socialist countries of Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in August 2014 and is currently a Subject Editor (Transition and Emerging Economies) of IZA World of Labor.
