Emanuele Dicarlo is a labor economist at the University of Zürich.
He will join the Bank of Italy in Spring 2021 as a junior researcher. He will receive his PhD from the University of Zurich in July 2021.
Emanuele holds a MSc in Economics from Bocconi University (2015) and a BSc in Economics from Bocconi University (2012). His research interests are in social security, migration, and their interaction with firms in the labor market. He has an expertise in working with large administrative datasets which are the core data source of his projects.
Emanuele Dicarlo joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in March 2021.
