Bastian Ravesteijn is currently an Assistant Professor at Erasmus University Rotterdam.

His research interests include health economics, public economics, and empirical microeconometrics. After completion of his doctoral work at the Erasmus School of Economics, Bastian spent two years at the department of Health Care Policy at Harvard Medical School. The first year of this position was funded by the Commonwealth Fund through the Harkness Fellowship program, and the second year was funded through the SPRINT-T research project.

Bastian Ravesteijn joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in December 2017.
