Piotr Lewandowski is a labour economist, co- founder and president of the board at Institute for Structural Research (IBS), a research institute based in Warsaw, Poland.

In the past affiliated to Warsaw School of Economics’ Department of Economics I, he has also collaborated with the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and the Chancellery of President and UNDP in Poland.

His research interests include the impact of technology on jobs, occupational change, tasks and wage polarization, labour market segmentation, minimum wage, energy poverty, and the labour market effects of climate and energy policies.

Piotr joined IZA as a Research Fellow in July 2016.
