Owen Ozier is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Williams College.
He was previously a Senior Economist in the World Bank's Development Research Group, Human Development and Public Services Team.
He received his M.Eng. and B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1999, and his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley in 2010.
He began working on research projects in Kenya in 2003; though he continues to work in Kenya, his current research topics also include education, health, labor markets, and economic decisions elsewhere in Sub-Saharan Africa and around the world
