Eugenio Zucchelli is a Senior Researcher (Tomás y Valiente Fellow) at the Madrid Institute for Advanced Study (MIAS) and the Department of Economic Analysis, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

Eugenio is an empirical microeconomist with broad research interests in the fields of the economics of health and human capital. He is also a Visiting Researcher at Lancaster University, UK, where he previously was Lecturer and then Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor with tenure) between 2013-2018. He is a Faculty Associate at the Canadian Centre for Health Economics (CCHE), University of Toronto; an external affiliate to the Health, Econometrics and Data Group (HEDG), University of York, UK; and a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (HEA). Between 2009-2012 he was a Research Fellow at the Centre for Health Economics (CHE), University of York. He has held visiting positions at Barcelona (UB), Carlos III, CEMFI, Curtin, Monash and Toronto. He holds a PhD in Economics awarded by the University of York.

Eugenio Zucchelli joined IZA as a Research Fellow in November 2018.
