Cristina Bellés-Obrero is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Economics at the University of Mannheim. She obtained her PhD in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2017.
Her main research interests are in the areas of Economics of Education, Health Economics, and Labor Economics. Her current research involves the study of incentive programs in the educational context, the trade-off between general and vocational education, and the empirical analysis of different policies over fertility and infant health outcomes.
Cristina Bellés-Obrero joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in June 2019.
